Driving in LA or NYC or any big city is terrifying. Even here in my small and very driveable city, I walk anywhere I can because driving sucks and I hate it
Ahahahaha. So good and so true. I moved to LA from Chicago, where I lived for six years without a car. When I moved to LA, I was devastated. I'm a decade in now and I definitely have some survival secrets to urban hearts who live here, but I can proudly say I do 80% of my errands on foot and I still manage to pick up spontaneous pastries and flowers along the way!
I love your illustration style. I keep a similar illustrated journal over on Unstuck in Time. If you ever get a chance, see what you think. I live in New Orleans, here layering is essential for 1/2 the year, the other half is boobs-out-hot! XO
I’m glad you’re enjoying the walks in LA! Driving my car is definitely used for errands & walking is for enjoyment ♥️
I totally relate to city driving fear!
