Reason being: I have to give my body something to potentially react to. If there’s no gluten in the system, we won’t be able to tell if my stomach can/can’t handle it.
This dress has pockets and inside, they’re the perfect fluffy and doughy center of challah. Rip off and chew on the go. Can you imagine??? Maybe a purse filled with honey or Nutella? Butter? I really could talk through the possibilities all day.
My body does not feel well. Which, unfortunately, could be an indication that these types of foods are not meant for me. But it’s worth noting that I have taken this assignment very seriously and am definitely overdoing it. If the biopsy ultimately reveals that my body can no longer process gluten, I will always have this month of unregulated carb chaos to look back on fondly.
This weekend I’m going out for homemade pasta and cookies.
Brilliant! I haven't eaten gluten (and sugar) since the beginning of this year. I used to be a professional baker/pastry chef...so it's been particularly unfortunate. Wondering if you've received the results? Hoping you get some clarity and your body starts feeling better.
